FLINT TWP. — An article in the June 8 edition about a proposed township online name-change survey should have said that Flint Township Trustee Carol Pfaff-Dahl said she did not want to exclude senior citizens who might not be computer savvy. The board was discussing alternate ways to survey community members who don’t use computers. — R.S.

Support book fair

FLINT TWP. — A Book Fair fundraiser for the Carman-Ainsworth Education Foundation (CAEF) will be held on Saturday, June 17 at Barnes & Noble bookstore at Genesee Valley Center mall. The CAEF will receive 15% from every purchase in-store or online. — R.S.

C-A to present “Hairspray”

Robotics public showcase

FLINT TWP. — “More than a Robot,’’ and open house by the Carman-Ainsworth robotics team is being planned for 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 at the Atlantis Alternative High School, G-3493 Beveridge Road. You will get to see the team’s award-winning robots in action, learn how robots prepare students for college and careers and see firsthand “the hardest fun you will ever have.” — R.S.
