Carman-Ainsworth, currently 5-12, will hope to close out the season with an upset of a dominant Flint Powers squad, 12-2-1, to head into district play on a high note after tallying three consecutive losses within the last week.

Carman-Ainsworth will go head-to-head with host Lapeer, 8-2-3, on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Lapeer to open up district play. The Cavaliers will be seeking redemption as Lapeer recently defeated Carman- Ainsworth 4-2 in league play on Oct. 4.

The winner of Carman-Ainsworth/ Lapeer will face the winner of Grand Blanc, 8-7-1, and Arthur Hill on Thursday at 5 p.m. On the other side of the bracket, Swartz Creek, 6-5, and Flushing, 6-12-1, will also play on Monday at Swartz Creek. The winner will face Davison at Lapeer at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

The final two teams will battle for the district title on Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. at Lapeer.
