Flint Township firefighters expressed appreciation for public support and offered their thanks to residents. On November 3, voters renewed a five-year (2016-2020) Fire Equipment millage projected to generate about $199,600 in its first year to help pay for fire equipment including new trucks, breathing apparatuses and other safety gear.
