The Flint Township Fire Fighters Association rang the Salvation Army bell at Walmart and Sam’s Club on Dec. 8. Flint Township Police, Michigan State Police and 911 Dispatchers also assisted in the one-day bell ringing which raised $4674.68 and 1,001 items of toys and clothes for needy families in Genesee County, per Fire Fighter Ryan Woods.
