Carman-Ainsworth girls blister Detroit Edison

Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, 9:48 p.m. — DETROIT — The Carman-Ainsworth girls’ basketball team destroyed Detroit Edison 64-19 tonight to end the regular season.Destiny Strother led C-A with 29 points and Aaliyah McQueen poured in 21 points. Carman-Ainsworth is at the Class A district at Lapeer Monday.

Old Time Rock n’ Roll

Don Newman played the guitar and sang songs for a group at the Genesee Valley Center Branch of the Genesee District Library in Flint Township, Feb. 23.
