FLINT — The Sloan Museum Auto Fair, held June 29, drew cars enthusiasts and others to see the 700-plus automobiles on display.
The event was open to all vehicle owners as well as spectators. The show was held on the beautiful Flint Cultural Center Campus. All years, makes, models, and descriptions were welcome and those attending saw every kind of car and truck they could imagine.
There were two Feature Displays: In Durant Plaza 50 Years of GTO and in front of the Flint Institute of Arts, the show celebrated 50 Years of MuscleCars with rare Mustangs, GTO’s, Barracudas, Chevelles and others.
Special Guests included Marty Martino, Concept Car restorer, and John and Lea Dunhan, owners and publishers of Still Runnin an on-line magazine and owners of an original 1964 GTO that they use as a daily driver. — G.G.
