FLINT TWP. — Affairs to Remember, a Michigan-based specialty event rental company, celebrated its expansion into the Metro Flint and Tri-City areas with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, March 30. Alongside the Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce, the event welcomed the public to check out the Flint showroom, located at 4297 Miller Road, across the street from Pier 1 Imports and next door to Signarama.
Since 1999, Affairs to Remember, a locally owned and family-operated specialty event rental company, has been serving the Detroit Metro, Greater Lansing, and Greater Ann Arbor areas with high quality event décor.
Affairs to Remember started out as a small linen rental company. The entire operation consisted of only three people. The focus then was providing quality chair covers, table cloths and napkins at an affordable price.
As its popularity and reputation grew, so did the business and product line. Affairs to remember now offer Chiavari chairs, farm chairs and tables, banquet tables in all sizes, pipe and drape, up lighting, chargers, and even event coordination. It now houses its products in a 10,000 square foot warehouse and showcases them in two boutique style showrooms located in Commerce Township and now in Flint Township. Staff size has grown to over 45 drivers, installation techs, laundry and press operators, seamstresses, and sales people serving over 175 different venues.
