ALICE MILDRED (HALL) EVERSON, 61, of Davison, MI, passed away after a month-long battle with COVID on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Alice was born in Flint, MI on January 3, 1961, the daughter of Alice (Ervin) Hall and the late Donald Hall. Alice graduated from Kearsley High School in 1979 and started working as a pre-school teacher at Holy Rosary Day Care and Child Development Center for 36 years where she was affectionately known as Miss Alice.
Alice married her soulmate, Lynn Kevin Everson, on April 22, 1989, and they went on to have two sons who were her pride and joy. She was a kind, caring person who always enjoyed helping others. Alice’s longtime dream of becoming a grandma had recently come true with the birth of her first granddaughter, Claire Ellen Everson, on August 24, 2021. Alice was looking forward to many years of spoiling her grandkid(s) and lots of family vacations.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Lynn Everson; two sons, Ryan (Megan) Everson and Kyle Everson; granddaughter, Claire Everson; mother, Alice Hall; four siblings, Judy (George) Sampson, James Hall, Donald (Melissa) Hall, and Robert (Tammy) Hall; brother-in-law, Kevin Frasier; many other loving family members and numerous great friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hall; two siblings, Roger Hall and Donna Frasier; parents-in-law, Denzil and Carol Everson.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 from 4-6 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 6 p.m. Alice’s brother-in-law, Larry Everson will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, in Alice’s memory. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at McLaren Flint for their devoted care.
