FLINT — American Advantage Home Care, a full-service home health care agency that provides skilled care 24/7, is celebrating the opening of its Flint office with a ribbon-cutting and open house, Sept. 21, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be refreshments and giveaways. The public is invited. Reservations are not required.
The new Flint office serves as a regional administrative hub, supporting American Advantage’s expansion into Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer and eastern Livingston counties. It is located in the Stockton Center at Spring Grove, 720 Ann Arbor St., Suite 100, Flint.
Cleamon Moorer, Jr. DBA, president, and his wife, Nicole Willis- Moorer, of Grand Blanc, purchased the Dearborn-based agency in June 2019.
Since then, they have worked to expand the agency’s geographical service footprint. The Flint office is the first administrative hub outside the agency’s Dearborn headquarters. American Advantage is also hiring additional clinicians and accepting new patients.
A multi-cultural team of experienced professionals provides one-on-one care with patients in whatever setting they call home – private home, assisted living, etc. Services include physical, occupational and speech therapy, skilled nursing, home health aide assistance and medical social work as well as helping coordinate community and private resources to maximize patients’ functional independence.
