Atwood Stadium to host the Second Annual July 4 Celebration



FLINT— Lights, camera, action! Flint’s family summer concert tradition returns to

Atwood Stadium with Music From the Movies. Building on last year’s success, join thousands of fun seekers for a night of music, fireworks and fun brought to you by the Flint Institute of Music (FIM).

Bring the whole family to this incredible Independence Day celebration. The Flint Symphony Orchestra, with guest conductor Christopher James Lees and special guests the Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra, will be playing songs from popular movies under the stars.

Enjoy family fun and games along with delicious treats from food trucks while listening to the ultimate soundtrack. The show will include songs from Jaws, Pirates of the Caribbean, Back to the Future, Superman, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, The Dark Knight Rises and Ghostbusters.

The gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the music starts at 7:30 p.m. The evening will end with an amazing grand fireworks display beginning at 9:40 p.m.
