Auto show hits town

 

 

GENESEE COUNTY — This weekend marks the 47th Annual Sloan Museum Auto Fair, taking place at the historic Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad, on June 22-23. The event, which honors the City of Flint’s history and impact on the nation’s automotive industry, also serves as a fundraiser for the restoration and preservation of Sloan Museum’s significant collection of automobiles.

This year’s Auto Fair will include a number of new activities and attractions, including a bounce house village for kids, live music and special features, with antique tractors, police cars, classic motorcycles, General Motors trucks and a history of stock cars.

Saturday’s general admission hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., while Sunday’s hours are 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (Village is open until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets for Crossroads Village and car show are $7 for ages 12 and older, free for ages 11 and younger.
