— The Baker College of Flint team, who tied for second place during the recent College Town LEGO Competition, won the “People’s Choice Award” for its LEGO guitar sculpture.

Out of 738 popular votes cast on-line or on the Flint Institute of Arts kiosk, the Baker team received 300 votes. Members of the winning team were Katy Byrd and John Pringle of Davison; Shane Myers of Otter Lake; James Scott of Westland; Dennis Ballor of Auburn Hills; Steven Dezwaan of Howard City; and Mountain Tolfree of Mount Morris.
