Bar Louie offering new beverage menu at Detroit locations




FLINT TWP. — Bar Louie at Genesee Valley Center mall has unveiledaanewbeveragemenufeaturing eight new cocktails, a completely revamped wine platform and a stronger focus on local beers.

Texas-based Bar Louie has seven Detroit Metro locations in Ann Arbor, Flint, Clinton Township, Livonia, Novi, Auburn Hills and Rochester Hills.

“We’ve always made really great martinis, but this new signature cocktail lineup is going to blow people away,” said bartender Jaime Piturro from Bar Louie in Clinton Township.

Included in the new libations lineup are the Mongoose Daiquiri created by in-house mixologist Blake Rohrabaugh’s; and also the Kiss My Aztec, Manhattan, Tickled Pink, La Fresca Margarita, The Fizz, Coconut Mint Lemonade and Elliot’s Pepper, developed by Bar Louie Anaheim’s Bar Manager, Nick Elliott. These signature handcrafted cocktails are progressive and cutting edge in nature and each cocktail is made to order from premium liquors, hand squeezed juices and fresh fruit garnishes.

Bar Louie has also entered into a partnership with Jimmy Stafford, lead guitarist and founding member of the Grammy award-winning band Train, to be the first establishment to offer their newest cabernet sauvignon,

Save Me San Francisco California 37, is named after the highway the rock band takes on their way to wine country, and is also the title of their latest album. Bar Louie will be the only bar to carry this wine from May 15 through the end of November.

In addition, Bar Louie revised its wine menu by adding 15 new offerings, most of which are only available at bars and restaurants, including Darcie Kent Sauvignon Blanc, Diseno Malbec and LaMarca Prosecco.

On the beer menu, bar patrons still have a core selection of their favorite beers, but they will now have more taps dedicated to local and craft options.

This eclectic urban bar is known for its handcrafted signature martinis but also features a selection of distinctly prepared food.

Bar Louie is open daily for lunch, dinner and late night dining from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. with the entire menu available until 2 a.m. every day. Happy Hour specials include food and drink specials Monday through Friday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. — R.S.
