FLINT — From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 24, the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan and 103.9 The Fox will be taking to the airwaves to raise money in an attempt to provide an astonishing two million meals for hungry people in Eastern Michigan. Tune in to 103.9 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., to hear the radiothon and feed the hungry with just a phone call.
Every donation, large or small, has the potential to make a huge difference in someone’s life. The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan partners with a litany of farms, grocers, food distributors and manufacturers to leverage their buying power, which means that every $1 donated to them is able to provide six full meals for families in need. All you need to do is call 810-732-4175 to make a donation tomorrow during the radiothon.
If you want to become a Hunger Hero, all you need to do is pledge $10 or more per month for 12 months, or make a one-time pledge of $120 or more. Your donation of $120 has the potential to buy 720 meals. After the radiothon, all Hunger Heroes will be entered into a drawing to win the Get-Away and Golf Prize Package worth $700!
The Get-Away and Golf Prize Package includes a one-night stay at The Lake Huron Inn and a one-night stay at the Lakewood Shores Resort, plus two rounds of golf at three different premiere golf courses in northern Michigan.
