Cash register stolen from business

FLINT TWP. — Police were called to a business in the 1300 block of West Bristol Road at about 12:45 p.m. on March 13. They found a window broken and a cash register missing with an undisclosed amount of money taken. There are no suspects and the incident remains under investiagation.

Youth apprehended for breaking into cars

FLINT TWP. — Police responded to a call about suspciious persons at about 3:20 a.m. on March 12. in the 5000 block of Corunna Road. At the scene, the officer found evidence someone had been breaking into cars. Shortly after, officers combing the area spotted two suspects matching the description given. The suspects ran and a foot chase ensued. One subject — a 14-year-old Flint Township man — was caught and detained and later admitted to breaking into a car and stealing electronics. Officers recovered stolen property.

Flint man arrested for narcotics, suspended licenses and weapons

FLINT TWP. — At about midnight on March 12, officers stopped a car for a traffic violation. The driver, a 20-year-old Flint man, was found to be driving with a suspended license. In a subsequent search of the vehicle officers found a handgun and a small amount of marijuana. The driver was arrested and lodged in the county jail.

Purse stolen from hotel room

FLINT TWP. — On March 13, at about 3:20 a.m police responded to 3200 block of Miller Road to a complaint of a purse stolen from a hotel room. Police have a suspect but no arrest has been made yet. — Compiled by Rhonda S. Sanders
