FLINT TWP.— The Flint Township Board of Trustees recently approved spending $7,356.70 to outfit a new Chevrolet Tahoe with lighting, siren and radio for emergency operations for the Flint Township Fire Department.
The board approved buying the 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe 4WD Special Services Command Vehicle at its March 18 meeting. The vehicle was purchased from Hank Graff Chevrolet at a cost of $36,862.48. Bids received for the improvements to the vehicle were Priority One Emergency, $7,356.70; Apollo Fire Equipment Co., $9,577.75; and Pro Comm Inc., $9,930.
