Bowlers bow to Davison

DAVISON — Carman-Ainsworth ran into one of the best bowling schools in the state last Saturday, and the results weren’t surprising. The Cavaliers lost both the girls’ and boys’ matches to Davison by 25-5 scores at Rollaway Lanes.

The Davison girls’ team remained undefeated on the season and in Big Nine Conference play, at 7-0 and 6-0. The Lady Cardinals are ranked No. 1 in the state in Div. 1.

Brooke Wood led Davison with a 236 and 198, Brooklyn Greene rolled a 224 game and Heather Baur bowled games of 211 and 199. Carman-Ainsworth scores were not available.

The Davison boys’ team remained undefeated as well. Kyle Weider led the Cardinals with a 237 game, Chase Smith rolled a 233 and Tylor Greene bowled a 233.

Michigan High School Interscholastic Bowling Coaches Association has moved the Cardinals up to No. 2 in the state in Div. 1.

Carman-Ainsworth will bowl Powers Catholic this Saturday at Grand Blanc Lanes.
