The Carman-Ainsworth girls’ bowling team qualified for match play in its third straight tournament of the year after placing 12th in qualifying rounds. In its only match in match play, the Lady Cavaliers faced No. 1 seed Davison. In the total pin two-game Baker match, Carman-Ainsworth won the first Baker game 153-143. Davison won the second game by 24 so Carman –Ainsworth was out of the tournament at that time. Royal Oak went on to win the girls’ side of the tournament. — L.P.
