LAPEER — Join beer lovers from across the state this Saturday, Sept. 17 from 3-10 p.m. at Louie’s Sports Tavern for the fourth annual View Brew Fest.

“We’re thrilled to host View Brew Fest again this year,” said View Newspaper Group Brand Manager Emily Caswell. “It’s always a great event for everyone involved, and it allows us to give back to the communities we serve.”

View Brew Fest includes live music by Michigan bands The Reefermen and The Locals, delicious food by Louie’s Sports Tavern and more than 100 craft brews from around the country to sample. View Newspaper Group once again hosts the event and will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Lapeer County Hockey Association (LCHA). Thanks to previous View Brew Fests, the organization has received $15,000 to help support guest coaches and scholarship programs.

“We look forward to working with the LCHA again this year,” said Caswell. “Their team of volunteers, plus the support of our generous sponsors has made the event a success each year.”

View Brew Fest was created with the intent of bringing a new and modern tradition to Lapeer, Genesee, and the entire Thumb region, while raising money for a good cause.

“View Brew Fest is a great way to celebrate the growing popularity of craft beer in our great state and enjoy a day of fun and giving back to the community,” added Caswell.

VIP tickets are $50 in advance and include entrance to a VIP party on Friday Sept. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m., a souvenir beer glass, and four drink tickets. Regular tickets purchased in advance are $10 and include a souvenir beer glass and three drink tickets. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event for $15. Additional sample tickets are available for purchase for just $1 each.
