GENESEE COUNTY — The Genesee County Bridal Alliance is continuing to further its goal of assisting local professional wedding vendors to build their businesses in addition to making it easier to find and contact professional wedding vendors for couples planning weddings.
For the past two years, the GCBA has offered a winter Wedding Marketplace but has recently added a new event — the Wedding Marketplace After Dark. This event will be held Nov. 7 at the Sloan Museum on the campus of the Flint Cultural Center.
It will be a unique ‘After Dark’ event designed to give couples a night out at the museum and the opportunity to connect with over 30 of Genesee County’s best professional wedding vendors.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Couples are encouraged to register at www.gcbaweddings.com to be eligible to receive a complimentary drink ticket. Cost is $5 and the Marketplace will run until 9:00pm.
The 2013 Wedding Marketplace After Dark will have a variety of vendors for engaged couples to meet and to gather information from. Including Tasty Layers Custom Cakes, Special Occasions Linens, Captain’s Club at Woodfield, Centennial Image Photography, Vogt’s Flowers, Liquid Entertainment, Bella Birches, Black Tie Productions, Unforgettable Announcements, Cherished Celebrations, Sloan*Longway, Flint Institute of Arts, Rusch Entertainment, DeLorme Photography, University of Michigan Flint, Atlas Valley Country Club, President Tuxedo, Brookwood Golf & Banquet Center and many more.
Live models will be featuring dresses from Davison Bridal, Expressions In Silk, hair and make up from Beauty Enroute and will highlight the latest looks for 2014. The Wedding Marketplace After Dark will feature “The Diamond Dash” sponsored by Diamond in the Rough Jewelers as well as many other prizes.
The Sloan Museum is located at 1221 E. Kearlsey Street in Flint.
