West Flint Business Association monthly luncheon

— West Flint Business Association, 4508 Beecher Rd., announces its monthly luncheon Oct. 20 at Old Country Buffet, G-3583 Miller Rd.

The event begins with lunch at noon, followed by the meeting from 12:30-1:15 p.m.

At the meeting, attendees will hear about veterans issues, along with the millage to provide services to veterans that will be on the November ballot. County Commissioner Ted Henry will speak during the meeting.

IMA to hold Fish Fry Fridays

— The IMA Brookwood Golf & Banquet Centeris offering “All You Can Eat Fish Fry” dinners on Oct. 8 and 22 from 4-7 p.m.

The “All You Can Eat” dinners include choice of fried or baked fish, french fries, coleslaw, garden tossed salad, tartar sauce, rolls & butter, coffee, hot tea & brownies. Chicken nuggets will be available for the kids.

A cash bar will be provided. Prices for the “All You Can Eat” dinners are $8.50 for adults, $4.95 for children under 12 and children under 4 are free.

20th Annual DHS Craft Show

— The 20th Annual Davison High School Craft Show will be held Oct. 16-17 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Davison Wrestling Boosters will sponsor this highly attended show. More than 100 booths will be in attendance selling wrought iron, florals, jewelry, primitives and many one-of –a-kind items. There is a $2 admission for ages 14 and older.
