FLINT TWP. — The Carman-Ainsworth Senior Center will be bringing back its annual Health Fair for senior citizens on Oct. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Genesee County Health Department will be offering flu shots, and a variety of local healthcare providers and vendors will be on hand to connect seniors with services, community resources and products. Vendors will include the Valley Area Agency on Aging, the Genesee County Office of Senior Services, Kith Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation, Oak Street Health, Beltone Hearing and Genesys PACE of Genesee County.
The Flint Township Police Department will also host a drug drop off for seniors and Flint Township officials will be presenting information on the Heroes Plaza—a memorial project that will honor military veterans and local first responders.
