C/A set to start later on Wednesdays

— Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools will start one hour later on Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 6 for its P.A.L.S. program.

The C/A Community Education Before School Program, known as P.A.L.S., is open to students in grades kindergarten through fifth and held at all schools, except for Carman-Ainsworth High School.

The program begins one hour and 15 minutes prior to school starting, and students will report to their respective school’s gym every Wednesday unless otherwise instructed.

The P.A.L.S. program runs Oct. 6-April 20, 2011 and is free to all students. P.A.L.S. is a fun-filled program with choices of activities for children. Each week, children will be able to choose from organized gym games, computers, board games or homework help/reading.

Parents must transport their students for the program; no transportation is available. Students must register in advance for the program, and registration forms are available in the main office. Completed forms must be returned to the main office.
