Can do

The GFWC Swartz Creek Women’s Club has supported the local police K9 units for years, but COVID-19 has put a crimp on their fundraising efforts. But the club members have always had a “can-do” attitude toward helping the community, and they weren’t going to let the pandemic stop them from lending a hand. So, they saved up and redeemed their returnable cans and bottles, and they were able to donate $200 to help care for the Metro Police Authority’s two dogs, both named Roscoe. Police Chief Matthew Bade accepted the donation on behalf of the department last month.
