SWARTZ CREEK — The first ever “Caring for the Caregiver” Retreat & Symposium will take place May 18 at the Birch Run Expo and Convention Center in Birch Run.
The event will be hosted by The Nancy DeKatch Caregiver Institute, a 501©3 organization in Michigan. The focus of the retreat is on providing caregivers with educational resources, expert advice and networking opportunities.
Event facilitators are currently accepting vendors and sponsorships from state-wide businesses and organizations which can provide services to caregivers in need.
Through vendors and sponsorships for this event, caregivers will have the opportunity to see first-hand what’s available to them to make their caregiving job easier.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with the caregiver and promote your products and services. 10’x10’ booth space is available to all vendors for one low price.
Sponsors will receive a premium 20’x20’ end cap location that will put them in the direct line of foot traffic throughout the entire event. All vendors will receive recognition on signage placed throughout the event as well as recognition in the symposium brochure that will be distributed to all attendees.
Sponsors will also receive recognition from the main stage and have the opportunity to promote their product or service on the main stage during the event. They will also be listed on both the CaregiverConvention.org website and The Nancy DeKatch Caregiver Institute website.
“There is a tremendous need for a Caregiver Retreat & Symposium, as it is too often that the caregiver also needs resources to learn how to care for themselves while caring for a loved one,” said Nancy DeKatch.
It is estimated that several thousand individuals will attend the state-wide symposium. In order to take part in this colossal event focused solely on the caregiver, contact Nancy DeKatch at 810-845-6713 or visit www.CaregiverConvention.org.
