Carman-Ainsworth offers early childhood classes in 2010-2011

– To help children achieve a head start in school, Carman-Ainsworth offers early childhood classes for pre-kindergarten and preschool.

The 2010-2011 Early Childhood Education Program uses the nationally recognized High Scope curriculum, which includes progress reports to parents. Classes begin Sept. 13.

Pre-kindergarten classes are open to children who will be eligible for kindergarten in the Fall of 2011 and must be four by Dec. 1. The classes run 9 a.m.-noon or 12:30-3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and the fee is a total of nine payments of $110.

Eligible children must be three by Dec. 1. Classes run 9 a.m.-noon and 12:30-3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Cost is nine payments of $85.

For both sets of classes, a $25 nonrefundable registration/administration fee must accompany each child’s registration form.

Carman-Ainsworth also offers the C/A Kiddie Campus, for working parents. It is open for children who are 3-5 years-old by Dec. 1. Hours are 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. A $25 non-refundable administration/registration fee must accompany each child’s registration form. Cost for the C/A Kiddie Campus is $135 a week.
