Carman-Ainsworth students offered online library cards

FLINT TWP. — Due to the mandated closing of all K-12 schools in Michigan in relation to the COVID-19 virus, the Genesee District Library is working with Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools to provide students the ability to register for a library card online.

This card will provide access to the Genesee District Library’s digital services while schools are closed. A student that attends one of the Carman- Ainsworth Community Schools can sign up for a library card digitally. To begin the process, a parent or guardian can fill out the Online Library Card Registration Form. At this time this service is only available to Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools. Once the form is complete, please allow some time for your library card to be created, and your library card details will be e-mailed to you. Once you receive this e-mail, you will be able to access the library’s digital services. Once schools re-open, students will be able to pick up their physical library card from their school.
