CORUNNA – The Carman- Ainsworth swim and dive team fell at Corunna on Tuesday, 136.5-45.5. Nathan Ratynski, Zion Clingman, Jack Roy and Cameron Koegel took second place in the 200 medley relay in 2:06.49 while Katie Kenworthy was second in the 500 free in 7:02.67.
Ratynski was second in the 100 back in 1:11.55 and the 200 free relay team of Ratynski, Roy, Matusik and Koegel was second in 1:54.25.
The Cavaliers were a bit shorthanded at last Thursday’s meet at Bay City John Glenn due to a winter choir and band concert, resulting in a pair of losses. Carman-Ainsworth fell to John Glenn, 136-29, as well as to Saginaw Heritage, 146-20.
Ratynski placed third in the 50 free in 25.50 and Koegel took fifth in the 100 free in 1:00.29. Ratynski also put up a first-place finish in the 100 back in 1:10.07.
