SWARTZ CREEK — Chris Crowder won his match at No. 2 Singles, but that was the only victory for Carman-Ainsworth in a 7-1 tennis loss last Thursday at Swartz Creek.

Crowder beat Creek’s Justin Hrychowian, 6-1, 6-0. Damon Haley went to three sets at No. 4 Singles before losing, 1-6, 6-3, 1-6, to Creek’s Chris Wilcox, and the Cavaliers lost the remaining matches in straight sets.

Noah Reed fell to Nick Photiou, 0-6, 1-6, at No. 1 Singles, and Omeed Hekmati lost to JD Hopton, 1-6, 1-6, at No. 3 Singles.

In doubles, Stanley Brantley/Mark D’Angelo fell, 1-6, 2-6, to Marty Birchmeier/Jacob Brownfield at No. 1, Evan Walker/Luice Moore bowed, 2-6, 0-6, to Tony Ethridge/Travis Manier at No. 2, Ethan Moore/Kyle Flucker lost, 2-6, 0-6, to Blake Lakies/Travis Skarvi at No. 3, and Jaylen Bransford/Vlad Li fell, 3-6, 1-6, to Jordan Preston/David Terrian at No. 4.
