Cavs claim conference hoops victories




FLINT —The Carman-Ainsworth boys’ basketball team came back to post a 72-63 victory against Flint Southwestern on Tuesday.

Cameron Morse blew up for 35 points, five rebounds, four steals, one assist and one block, Ja’Quin Jones had 14 points, five boards, two assists and two steals and Brennen Gleason scored seven with two rebounds and a block. Brandon Walker and Jaylen Bradley had six each. In conference competition last Friday, Carman-Ainsworth won big at Flint Powers, 71-51. Justice Green served up 17 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and three steals, Morse had 13 points, two rebounds and two assists and Gleason had 10 points and five boards. Jones had eight points, one rebound, one assist and a steal, Bradley had seven points, five boards, two steals and one assist.

The Cavs host Davison for a SVLSouth matchup today.
