FENTON — Depth, confidence and disciplined coaching led the Grand Blanc boys’ swim and dive team to its 16th straight Genesee County title at Fenton High on Saturday. Grand Blanc blew away the field by 325.5 points. The Bobcats won with 654.5, Fenton was a distant second with 329 and Swartz Creek/Flushing was third with 257.5. Flint Powers was fourth with 226, Corunna was fifth with 200, Brandon sixth with 131 and Davison seventh with 129.

Kearsley finished eighth with 90, Carman-Ainsworth was ninth with 80, Lapeer was 10th with 59 and Holly 11th with 56.

Katie Speaks, Wyatt Pangerl, Brennan Robertson and Carson Koegel were ninth in the 200 medley relay. Koegel also finished just out of the medals placing ninth in several individual races. Pangerl, Connor Heaton, Robertson and Koegel were eighth in the 200 free relay and Speaks, Andrew Fox, Heaton and Olivia Van Duyne were 10th in the 400 free relay.
