MIDLAND — Carman- Ainsworth/Flushing won six of the 12 events and picked up enough placement points to beat Midland, 100-86, in a Saginaw Valley League swimming and diving dual last Friday at Midland.

Patrick Sharp won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.07 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.33 to lead the Cavaliers. Sharp also joined Tyler Pangerl, Blake McDonald and Mitchell Wright in winning the 200 medley relay in 1:54.75 to open the meet. The Cavs also closed the meet with a victory in the 400 free relay, as Eric VanDuyne, Evan Snyder, Pangerl and Sharp clocked 3:44.22.

Snyder also won the 200 free in 2:02.94, and Chris Michael took the diving event with 186.95 points.

Carman-Ainsworth/Flushing will meet Davison and Kearsley tonight at Kearsley.
