CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE —







Making one of their last few stops before a Jan. 14 appearance at Carnegie Hall in New York, the Annie Moses Band performed Saturday at the Central Church of the Nazarene on Bristol Road. Formed in 2002, the band is amassing a following due in part to their Christmas special logging more than 1000 hours of airtime on PBS during the past two Christmas seasons. Their music is a blend of classical, jazz pop and bluegrass and features members of the Wolaver family of Nashville, Tenn. Annie (lead vocals, violin), Alex (viola, background vocals), Benjamin (cello), Gretchen (violin, mandolin), Camille (harp, piano) and Jeremiah (guitar) and their parents, Robin (lyricist/vocalist) and Bill (composer/arranger/pianist). Annie, Alex and Benjamin trained at the renowned Juilliard School of Music in New York City.
