City hall, parks re-opening

SWARTZ CREEK — The Paul D. Bueche Memorial Building, also known as Swartz Creek’s city hall, has re-opened to the public.

The building opened Monday with limited hours as follows:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon to 4:30 p.m.

• Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to noon

Visitors are asked to wear face masks unless they are medically unable. Hand sanitizer stations are provided. Sneeze guards have been installed and all employees receive temperature checks before entering, and have personal protective equipment.

In addition, parks are open with signage directing users to follow social distancing guidelines. The sand volleyball and tennis courts will open June 12, as will pavilions, playscapes and swings, and restrooms. Restrooms are sanitized daily. — L.R.
