Pickard named to Heidelberg University fall semester Dean’s List

TIFFIN, OH — Heidelberg University has announced the names of 422 students who have earned academic recognition on the fall semester dean’s list. Included on the list is Layne Pickard, a freshman Sport Management major from Grand Blanc.

According to Interim Provost Dr. Bryan Smith, students must be enrolled full time and meet academic criteria set forth by the university to be named to the dean’s list.

Founded in 1850, Heidelberg offers 26 majors, 30 minors and 9 preprofessional programs, awarding the bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, and bachelor of music degrees, as well as master’s degrees in counseling, business administration and athletic training (2021). — G.G.

2020 fall semester dean’s list honorees announced

Norman was named to the Wheaton College Fall 2020 Dean’s List

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton College student Lia Norman of Flushing, was named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2020 semester.

To earn Dean’s List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

Ferris State University releases academic honors, graduates Lists

BIG RAPIDS — Ferris State University officials have announced that 3,938 students received Academic Honors for the semester that ended in December 2020 at Ferris and Kendall College of Art and Design.

To be eligible for Academic Honors, the minimum requirements for full-time students each term are: 3.5 GPA and completion of 12 Ferris credit hours or more of graded course work at the 100 level or higher. The minimum requirements for part-time students each term are: 3.5 GPA with completion of at least 12 accumulated Ferris credit hours of graded course work at the 100 level or higher.

Local students named to the fall 2020 Dean’s List at Aurora University
