Local students named to honor roll

To be named to the honor roll a student must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average for the term.

Summers named to Spring 2021 Dean’s List at Kutztown University

KUTZTOWN, PA — Nearly 2,300 students have been named to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List at Kutztown University, including Jonathan D Summers of Flint.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Iowa State University announces spring 2021 Dean’s List

AMES, IA — More than 10,500 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2021 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework.

Among the students receiving Dean’s List honors was Taras-Michael Butrie, Aerospace Engineering, of Grand Blanc.

NIU Spring 2021 Dean’s List

DeKALB, Ill. — Northern Illinois University announces its spring 2021 Dean’s List students. To earn this distinction, students must meet a minimum semester grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology or a minimum of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale in the colleges of Business, Education, Health and Human Sciences, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Visual and Performing Arts.

Among those student receiving recognition was Isabella Sabo, College of Education Dean’s List, Sport Management – B.S., Grand Blanc.

Mason named to University of Iowa dean’s list for 2021 spring semester

IOWA CITY, IA — Sean Mason of Davison, was among the more than 7,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the dean’s list for the 2021 spring semester.

Mason is a second-year undergraduate student in the UI’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in International Relations.

Dean’s list status was earned by 872 first year undergraduates during the 2021 spring semester at Iowa, 1,579 second year students, 1,947 third year students, and 2,687 fourth year students.

Saint Mary’s College Names Dean’s List

NOTRE DAME, IN — Emily Moriartey of Davison has been named to the Saint Mary’s College Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester.

To earn this academic honor at Saint Mary’s, a student must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale, have a minimum of 12 graded credit hours, no incompletes, and no grades lower than a C.
