Locals named to UA Presidents List

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Anna Kearney of Flushing and Melina Smith of Burton were named to The University of Alabama Presidents List for Spring Semester 2021.

A total of 11,813 students enrolled during the spring 2021 term at The University of Alabama made the Dean’s List with academic records of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale), or the President’s List with academic records of 4.0 (all A’s).

The UA Dean’s and President’s lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Walworth named to UA Deans List

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Kaden Walworth was named to The University of Alabama Deans List for Spring Semester 2021.

Locals named to Spring 2021 Dean’s List at University of Findlay

FINDLAY, OH — Annika Wilson, of Grand Blanc and Jenna Bearup, of Burton were named to the spring 2021 dean’s list at the University of Findlay. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Located in Findlay, Ohio, the University of Findlay is known not only for science, health professions, animal science and equestrian studies programs, but also for cultivating the next generation of business leaders, educators and global citizens through a dedication to experiential learning, both in and outside of the classroom. Antell named to Dean’s List at Bethel University

ST. PAUL, MN — Marisa Antell, a Senior at Bethel University in St. Paul, has been named to the Dean’s List for academic excellence for the spring 2021 semester. She is the daughter of Jeff Antell from Flushing.

The Dean’s List honors students who achieve an outstanding scholastic record during a semester with a grade point average of 3.6 or greater.

Bethel University is a leader in Christ-centered higher education with nearly 4,500 students from 47 states and 22 countries enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, seminary, and adult undergraduate programs. Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, Bethel offers bachelor’s and advanced degrees in more than 100 fields through classroom-based and online programs.

Local students recognized for academic achievement

ALBION — Albion College recognizes recent graduates, recipients of academic awards, and dean’s list and Albion College Fellow honorees.

Grand Blanc Student Brielle Broderick received a Cathy L. Young Endowed Award in French at the College’s annual Honors Convocation. Broderick was also named to the Albion College Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester.

Mariah Brenz was named to the Albion College Dean’s List; Maija Gillum was named to the Albion College Dean’s List; David Reno was named to the Albion College Dean’s List; and Noah Rollison was named to the Albion College Dean’s List. All are from Grand Blanc.
