GENESEE COUNTY — The first annual Commit to Fit! 3-Ton Healthy Weight Loss Challenge is a community-wide challenge that will take place over the 8 week period of Jan. 2-Feb. 29.
The 3-Ton Healthy Weight Loss Challenge, which is available free of charge to any resident who lives or works in Genesee County, seeks to promote healthy living and celebrate community unity in the New Year.
Individuals and families throughout Genesee County are encouraged to unite to accomplish a single cumulative goal: combine for a total of 3 Tons of healthy weight loss together in two months. Whether you’re interested in losing 2 pounds, 10 pounds, or simply maintaining your current healthy weight while having fun and staying active, Commit to Fit! is asking you to join the community today by registering online at www.commit- 2- fit.org. Individuals and families who sign up between now and the Jan. 14 deadline will be eligible to participate in a number of free physical activity and nutrition classes while also qualifying for chances at a number of challenge incentive and prize raffles based on participation and goal achievement.
