Courts extend closings through end of year

GENESEE COUNTY — Due to the continuous rate of new coronavirus infections in Genesee County, the 67th District Court is extending the temporary closure to the public through Dec. 31 or until further notice.

The court will continue to conduct all court proceedings via Zoom and livestream via YouTube during this time.

Urgent matters may be submitted via the court’s website at www.67thdc.com or placed in the drop-box located inside the McCree Building, 630 S. Saginaw St., in Flint.

“We’ve taken this action to attempt to protect the court staff and the public from the COVID-19 outbreak,” said Chief Judge Christopher R. Odette. “This is a necessary step to contribute to the public safety.”
