FLINT — The 2016 Signature Chefs Auction on October 12th honored Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha for her outstanding commitment, dedication and leadership. Dr. Mona is known globally for educating the world about the elevated lead levels in the Flint water supply and the impact on children. Today, Dr. Hanna-Attisha serves as the Director, Pediatric Public Health Initiative, Hurley Children’s Hospital and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
Hurley Medical Center was the presenting sponsor for the 14th Annual Signature Chefs Auction that benefitted the March of Dimes at the Holiday Inn Gateway Centre in Flint. Participating restaurants included Applewood Café, Brick Street of Grand Blanc, O’Malley’s, Cranberries Café, J. Porters Steakhouse, Paddy McGee’s Irish Pub, Tasty Layers Custom Cakes, CopperWood Grille, the Captain’s Club at Woodfield, 501 Bar and Grill and Redwood Steakhouse and Brewery.
