Ed Dept. seeks input on student code of conduct

LANSING — The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) requests public comment on the revised State Board of Education (SBE) Model Code of Student Conduct presented at the June 13, SBE meeting.

MDE will receive comments beginning now through July 14. All written comments will be reviewed and considered in the final version of the document.

If you do not have online access, Associate Superintendent Steven Tunnicliff, Ph.D. of the Genesee Intermediate School District states his office will have a paper copy available in the Communications and Development Office as a resource to families.
