Swartz Creek resident Krystle Steele and her family went out egging houses on Easter morning, but they did it with good intent. The Steeles filled plastic Easter eggs with goodies and left them on the doorsteps of their friends’ and neighbors’ homes. Easter was tough on some families this year. Social distancing meant no in-person church services, no community Easter egg hunts, and – for a lot of people – no big family dinners. For that reason, Steele said she felt it was important to do something to help bring some Easter cheer to the neighborhood.
