FLINT TWP. — Oops. Dropped your iPad? Cracked your iPhone screen? Phone locked? Batteries dead? Buttons jammed? Help is now close at hand.
That’s the pledge of Device Doctors, a new electronics repair store at 4044 Corunna Road, 1/2 a mile west of I-75 near Graham Road.
Device Doctors offers repair services for a variety of electronics brands including iPad, iPod, iPhone, Mac and other brands of cell phones and tablets (including but not limited to) Samsung Galaxy S series and the Galaxy Note series. They also buy and sell all used phones and devices.
“Genesee County is finally getting what most all major cities have, an honest and reliable Cell Phone repair shop,” said Joshua Elder, shop owner, who aims to make Device Doctors the number one stop for gadget owners who want to buy, sell or repair their mobile devices.
As part of a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Oct. 11, the store will be giving away a free iPad mini, according to a press release. The winner will be announced on site during a live broadcast by 103.9 the Fox radio between 2-4 p.m. To enter, stop by the store or visit its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ mydevicedoctors
Device Doctors has a rapid response department responsible for providing same-day and in some cases while-youwait repair services.
“We understand that your cell phone is an important part of your life, which is why we offer same day service,” Elder said. “Many large corporations and schools use iPhones and iPads as part of their day, so when something goes wrong they need service now, which is why we offer them competitive rates and free pickup and delivery of their devices.”
All repairs are backed by a 1-year warranty and a satisfaction guarantee. No appointments are needed.
Elder said he moved out of state seven years ago in search of greener pastures. But his love of Michigan and desire to liver closer to his family has brought him home.
“I have sold my business in Florida, packed up my family and moved back … in hopes of bettering my life and helping Flint Township,” he said.
