Family Service Agency appoints executive director

FLINT — Family Service Agency of Mid-Michigan (FSA) has appointed Brooke R. Gow, MPA as Executive Director. Gow will take the position following Charles Tommasulo who has retired as Executive Director after 33 years of service.

Gow formerly served as the FSA Program Director of the Guardian and Representative Payee Programs. She brings a wealth of knowledge of FSA clients and the services they need. She has recently completed graduate work for a master’s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University.

“I am looking forward to serving the clients of Family Service Agency as the ED. This agency has a strong legacy of service and we will build on this foundation to expand programs to meet the needs of our clients and the community.” said Gow.

Family Service Agency of Mid- Michigan is a private, not-for-profit organization that has provided critical human services to Flint and Genesee County residents since 1945.

Today FSA provides a wide range of professional services with a special emphasis on serving families and older adults. These change-oriented services improved community life in 2019-2020 by helping over 2,245 families and individuals understand their life choices and maintain their dignity. — G.G.
