Fandangles’ presents Special Dining




FLUSHING
— Fandangles’ “Special Dining Experiences” is pleased to announce the exhibit of paintings by Bill Anderson and Chris O’Neill, Oct. 31 through Nov. 26 at the restaurant located at The Marketplace At Flushing, G-6429 West Pierson Road, Flushing.

On Oct. 31, Fandangles’ will present a preview showing and reception that is open to the public, 1-3 p.m. with complimentary hors d’ oeuvres and cash bar. The afternoon is open for the public to come meet the artists, view the latest work of local artists from Davison and Fenton.

Bill Anderson, NWWS, of Davison, is a watercolor artist and architect. He has been working in watercolor since 1988. He has studied under Jim Ames, Mary Whyte, Carlton Plummer, Z.L. Feng and Paul Veveille and specializes in painting people. He has had five solo shows and has shown and won awards in several national and regional Watercolor Society Shows. He was accepted in 1994 as a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society based in Seattle, Washington.

Anderson’s work is included in many private and corporate collections, including three commission collections installed at Hurley Medical Center. He is currently teaching drawing classes at the Flint Institute of Arts and is teaching elementary students in the Flint Public Schools as part of the partners program.

Chris O’Neill, a resident of Fenton, also is an Elementary Teacher specializing in Early Childhood. O’Neill’s work reflects her view on the small town and is seen through texture and patterns, reminiscent of home, storefronts, porches, and landscapes. She is involved in many art organizations including the Greater Flint Arts Council and Fenton Artist Guild along with different summer art fairs around the state. Details: www.Fandanglesmi.com.
