FCP announces auditions for upcoming production

FLINT TWP.
— The Flint Community Players (FCP) will be holding auditions for their upcoming production of “A Couple of White Chicks Sittin’ Round Talking” 7-10 p.m. Nov. 15-16 at the Flint Community Players Workshop and Rehearsal Hall, 2462 S. Ballanger Hwy. (at Miller Road, just behind the KMart.)

Director Steven J. Mokofsky is seeking two women between the ages of 25 and 40 for this delightful, brassy and unabashed show of wit, wisdom and whimsical banter. There will be no need to prepare; all readings will be from the script and materials will be provided at the audition.

Written by John Ford Noonen, the production asks the question of “Can one perfect suburban housewife (one part June Cleaver, one part Bree Hodge) find happiness each morning (in her HGTV kitchen) in a mix of banter & coffee with one pesky (Just moved in next door from Ubetcha, Texas) neighbor?” Show dates for “A Couple of White Chicks Sittin’ Round Talking” will be Jan. 13-16 at the FCP Workshop.
