FLINT — Do you feel like you need to “get a grip” on your business financials? A financial workshop designed specifically to help business owners, managers and CEO’s understand basic financial information and how to use it for effective decision making and better business performance is being offered on March 8, from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Kettering University in the Campus Center, Corner Chevrolet and University.
“Fiscal Fitness for the Growing Business” workshop includes a light breakfast and is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank and the Region 6 Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center (MISBTDC).
Designed for businesses with at least three years of financial history, the workshop includes hands-on practice examples and covers topics such as ways to improve cash flow, using financials to diagnose problems and opportunities, understanding break even, and how to work with your banker and your accountant.
Fee for the workshop fee is only $25 per person, reduced from $50 through the generous support of the Fifth Third Foundation.
