Financial Plus baking treats to raise funds for Hurley’s Breast Cancer Patient Navigation Program

FLINT — Get your sweet tooth ready, Financial Plus Credit Union will host its Annual Pink Night Palooza Bake Sale on Sept. 27 at all Financial Plus locations.

Bake sale items will be available from 9 a.m. until all items are gone. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from this sale will stay here in our community to directly benefit Hurley’s Breast Cancer Patient Navigation Program.

Hurley’s Breast Cancer Patient Navigation Program is a vital yearround program that is a free service to help local men and women make ends meet – financially, emotionally, and spiritually – during treatment and recovery. Hurley is the first medical center in Genesee County to offer a Breast Health Nurse Navigator.

Local businesses and Financial Plus employees have generously donated a variety of baked goods including, cookies, cupcakes, muffins, pies, and candy; other non-food items include gift cards, blankets, and Pink Night Palooza merchandise just to name a few. The bake sale also features raffles, merchandise sales, live radio remotes, and more.
