Financial Plus Credit Union welcomes new VP of Mortgage

FLINT — Financial Plus Credit Union is pleased to announce Rachelle Kippe has joined the company as the Vice President of Mortgage Lending. In this role, she is responsible for establishing, leading and executing the strategic initiatives for mortgage lending.

“Rachelle brings extensive mortgage knowledge and experience to our organization. At Financial Plus Credit Union, she will develop and implement a comprehensive mortgage lending growth plan which includes oversight of originations, servicing, support and sales staff, and portfolio management. She will also lead mortgage loan production while working collaboratively with other leaders in order to meet lending objectives, manage risk, and support operations,” remarked the CEO, Brad Bergmooser.

Kippe is a well-respected figure within the lending industry. With nearly 3 decades as a leader in the banking industry, Rachelle has filled key positions ranging from divisional and national sales management, to consumer lending operations, to mortgage portfolio oversight. Her extensive track record of success and team building is a perfect fit for her role with Financial Plus.

Kippe is connected to the community and an active participant serving on various professional associations. She is an affiliate member of East Central Association of Realtors, a member of Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association and affiliate member of Women’s Council of Realtors. Since 2003, Kippe has served on the board of Metro Community Development, Inc. a local non-profit. She is currently serving as the Board Chair. Kippe remarked, “The work Metro Community Development does in the community is amazing including: helping homelessness as the lead organization in Genesee County for Continuum of Care, homeownership counseling and opportunities for our low/moderate income borrowers; and entrepreneurship training and access to capital for Small Business Owners.”
