FLINT – Financial Plus Credit Union will kick off the 9th annual Pink Night event, a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Fundraiser, on Oct. 1 from 5-11 p.m. at Blackstone’s Pub & Grill
“As a community focused credit union, Financial Plus looks forward to hosting Pink Night every year. Most everyone has been impacted by a family member, friend, neighbor or loved one who had or has cancer. Pink Night is a very special Making Strides fundraiser and we are so grateful for the outpour of community support. We are proud to say, 90 percent of all proceeds raised goes to Making Strides,” said Olga Long, Senior Vice President at Financial Plus Credit Union.
Pink Night celebrated its third consecutive year in 2014 as being a Top 25 fundraising team in the nation for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Financial Plus’ goal for 2015 is to raise over $55,000 and are well on their way, with Chassé Ballroom and Latin Dance Studio returning as the Title Sponsor for the event for the third year in a row.
This event includes a silent and live auction, dancing, drink specials, artistic, yet conservative brassiere fashion show, food, and more.
